About Q&S
Q&S are an elf only, training alliance for newbies in Elgea. We are limited to 10 newbie elflings at once, in order to ensure our new players get the maximum amount of personal attention until they are ready to go out into the wide Illyrian world. Exceptions are made for players who are sponsored externally or have alts.
Players graduate at 5k pop. All graduates are encouraged to fly the nest quickly and make room for other newbies.
We do not invite nor actively seek out new members, players who are interested are encouraged to contact Auraya to find out more.
We are a standalone alliance and entirely peaceful. As such, NAPs are freely available to any and all alliances and confeds are temporary, for practical purposes.
Application Details
1. Applicants should apply to Auraya with the subject 'I do believe in fairies!'
2. Those without a love for pandas, skittles, koalas and rainbows need not apply.

Finally, some advice from the wonderful orc Jane Darkmagic:
[28 Oct 2012 22:05]<Jane Darkmagic> you should think of finding alliance like dating.. you don't want to fully commit right away...because if you are with a different alliance every other night you will get a reputation
and from the wise KillerPoodle:
"When you join an alliance you make a commitment to them and they make a commitment to you. The nature of that commitment will be different depending on the nature of the alliance and it's goals.
For a training alliance - their commitment to the new player is that they will train them as well as possible. The new player commits that he/she will try their hardest to learn everything that is being taught and complete the "course".
Leaving before you have completed your training (Luke) is breaking that commitment and thus it's reasonable that the person doing the training should feel a little upset.
How far that is taken with a "poaching" alliance is up to the leader involved - but the other way is to take it as a compliment if an alliance wants your recruits so badly they will accept them before they are quite ready.
Auraya - you might already do this - but you could also clearly state as a condition of entry into your alliance that a newb will try their hardest to learn and will also try to stick the entire course.
