The Cost of the Crown
The Sinner’s Crown is a tight-knit group of outcasts. The beaten-down of all the races that were pushed so far their backs hit the wall, and now the wall is the only thing they have left. That, and each other. We were the merchants who lost their caravans to raids. The militias that razed cities to the ground, killed everyone in their path and walked away from the screams of war. The hunters that became the hunted. The crafters who had their tools and hands broken. We have nothing left to lose.
Loving any of us is a death sentence, isn't it?
