Winds of Change [TOUR]
| Founded By: | Remy | Founded On: | 01JUL26 17:30 |
For too long, the tourney scene has been dominated by the same alliances. For half a decade, the minor powers have been merged and absorbed to feed the hegemony of these groups, it's been possible to predict the winners of each tourney months in advance and for a shot at winning, the minor powers have had to merge into the same old hegemons to fight under their banner for their glory, and their victory.
It's time for that to change.
The idea:
1: Join the coalition
2: Win
3: Disband and head home
The Winds of Change was less an alliance in its own right and more a neutral coalition of alliances working together as equals to win a top prize. Leadership was formed by a council of 1 representative from each participant alliance.
At the conclusion of the August 2026 dragon tournament, we had achieved our goal: a first place victory, with a total occupation time of 570 days 8 hrs 22 mins. Together, we proved that several small teams could join together to rival (and beat) the biggest tournament alliances in the game. Full details here.
