Beren Edhelion, formerly known throughout Elgea as Beren-Edhel due to the drunken scribe Clickerroris, came to Illyria as a refugee from a world ravaged by ceaseless warfare. Seeking a haven in the great tradition of his people, he settled in a relatively remote, rugged and wildly beautiful location which he named "Imladris", as a tribute to one of the greatest Elven refuges in all the worlds. He and his folk dwell in peace wifh all who are so inclined.
