Durin II

Durin I, or simply Durin, was the father of the fathers of the eldesr race of dwarves, the Longbeards. He awoke under Mt. Gundabad and walked south till he reached Kheled-Zâram where he looked in and saw a crown of stars appear above his head and, taking that as an auspicous sign, founded Khazad-dûm at the Dimral Dale. He died before the end of the First Age, but lived long, even for the dwarves, earning him the nickname Durin the Deathless. His greatness would be reincarnated six times in his descendents, and the seventh durin would mark the decline of dwarves. After Durin died, Durin II took up the throne and did litteraly like nothing except erect the monument Durin's Stone where Durin stood and looked in Kheled-Zâram.
