Elf Female Character Portrait

Samantha is a cheeky little high elf who loves to roam the woodlands of Illyriad. She always appreciates a good drop of wine and is also a hard drinker, which surprises some, given her slender stature.

She likes to make friends and is otherwise very sociable if you don't annoy her. Otherwise, she tries to find a solution to everything herself and hates being depending on others.

Night Watch: Little elf girls are not easy prey.

History of a elf girl.

March 9: Samantha enters the lands of Illyriad with her retinue and founds the first settlement.

March 12: I join an elven alliance whose representative invited me.

March 13: Our great architect drew up the plans for a defensive wall, which were immediately put into practice.

March 14: Our blacksmith started work today. The faces of the onlookers around him reflected their enthusiasm as he presented the first sword after a hard day's work. Furthermore, our new commander Shiro was sworn in and took over the training of the first hundred defenders.

March 15: The city blossoms. More than a dozen caravans carry the fruits of our hard-working craftsmen out into the world. In the meantime, Commander Shiro trains his new fighters daily and forms our first army: Legio I Germanica.

March 16: While studying old books and scrolls in the library, our academics came across something interesting: The manufacture of siege weapons. With this knowledge, our master builders set to work and set up a siege workshop. I am sure that their products will serve us well in the distant future.

At the same time, some of our settlers begin to equip themselves to found another outpost. It is proving to be a difficult undertaking that will take days to complete.

March 17: One of the cotters needed new tools from the blacksmith and as he couldn't pay him, he gave him some minerals in exchange. After several attempts, our blacksmith succeeded in shaping a new type of Elven sword.
It wasn't long before Commander Shiro became aware of it and ordered his recently created strike force to be equipped with it.

March 18: The small settlement is developing splendidly, but not everything is going perfectly. The farmers complain about roaming hordes of wild animals and monsters that make life difficult for them.
So Commander Shiro orders Legio I Germanica to get ready for battle. Not far from the fields in Lan Larosh, a battle breaks out with a group of giant bears. The newly formed legion just about manages to win, but Shiro is seriously injured in the course of the battle.

March 19: The newly founded Miners' Guild is sending out its first workers to mine rare minerals such as Earthblood. I am confident that they will fetch a good price on the market.
Commander Shiro is feeling a bit better again after the healers took care of him. He even had a sarcastic remark on his lips again. I also gave the order to build a mill to make baked goods. What the peasants have called their food so far is simply not for young elf girls!

March 20: What a wonderful day. Our team of settlers is fully equipped and walks through one of the city gates to the cheers of the inhabitants. Not far to the south, the scouts have discovered fertile land that is suitable for further settlement. The settlement will be called New Tokio.

March 21: Things are slowly getting going. Legio I Germanica has won its next battle against a horde of wild dogs. This time the legionnaires acted much more routinely and there were no significant casualties. Even the commander only received a few scratches and bite marks.

Also worth mentioning today is that one of the miners, named Shou, presented me with a gemstone whose beauty and size dwarfed anything I had seen before. It is a pyrestone. I will probably have a necklace made from it.

March 23: Our population has now reached the 1000 mark.
A horse trainer has taken up residence with us and is offering his services. It will certainly be exciting to watch him at work and see how he handles the horses.

March 25: Our quartermaster approached me with a request to build a warehouse to better coordinate the increasing flow of goods. After some consideration, I gave in and the warehouse is already under construction.

March 26: In the morning, I was woken up excitedly by my maid Ryu. The miners have returned and what they have in their luggage is simply unimaginable: moon shards!
The alchemists are still puzzling over what use they have, but there is no question that they are valuable.

But that wasn't all. Shou came up to me with a grin. This wild, impetuous guy. What could it be that would surpass the moonstones? In his outstretched hand shone a greenish shard of unsurpassed beauty. A shard of haste. Our money worries should be a thing of the past in the near future and Shou will become foreman, that much is certain.

March 27: Commander Shiro faced the Legion today in his new armor. Armed with a fearsome naginata and clad in moonshatter leather, he looks very impressive to his followers. I hope the equipment is worth the price.

March 28: Our new Legio VIII Augusta was set up in New Tokio. Consisting of several cohorts, it is a serious opponent on the battlefield. It is an impressive spectacle when the phalanx performs its exercises in front of the city. Now all that remains is to find a capable leader.

March 30: A new commander for our Legio VIII Augusta has finally been found. A young elf fighter named Ariane. Her long, almost white hair shines in the sunlight and she is a breathtaking sight. Shiro recommended her to me after he had put her sword skills to the test. I am confident that I have made the right choice with her.

March 31: Today we took possession of our first piece of land outside the urban area and reclaimed it. Craftsmen and farmers are beginning to cultivate it. An extremely costly affair, but the quartermaster has assured me that we can manage the task. We must grow!

April 3: Our scouts have founded an outpost far to the west. The location near a lake seems very promising. The surrounding countryside also proves to be extremely fertile. This should solve our supply problems caused by the growing army, at least for the time being.

April 6: The recently founded settlement, now christened Outpost 13 by the farmers (13 because it is the name day of our empress), is developing rapidly. Transports laden with grain leave the inconspicuous base for our capital almost every day.
