Seasons and Lunar Phases in Illyriad have an ingame effect on various global bonuses and penalties.
The ingame Seasons and the Lunar Phases mirror the Real World clock for the Northern Hemisphere.

There are 4 Seasons in Illyriad, and they run as follows:
SPRING (March, April, May)
The time of renewal, growth and soil loosened by the rains.

Underworld Hunter. Contact me if you want to cooperate watching Underworld activity and numbers, monitor spawn spots and coordinate hunting. Underworld spawn spots can be found on this map, by selecting 'Hellmouths': Faction Action Tensmoor color coded three types of Hellmouths : Hellmouth of Anguish, Hellmouth of Sorrow, Hellmouth of Woe. Forum thread: Tracking the Hellmouths *A disadvantage: Underworld doesn't drop hides* Underworlders are the source of Hearts of Darkness that are used in a lot of crafted gear (more details to be added> gear based on the ones crafted with the Hearts), and in a number of items (all Essences and Shards) from the Enchantment school of magic. Imps don't seem to drop anything, they can however do damage.
