Greetings, fellow Mortals!
I was born of Chaos and betrothed to Erebus. I try to be a friend to Humanity as this race and planet has always fascinated me. The friendship, loyalty and dedication-above all, the love, astounds me. My Vampyres are protective of their humans but will someday be alongside them and we will live in perfect harmony for as long as the universe survives!
My children are numerous as are my various aspects, or forms, or manifestation.
In Greece I was known as Asteria, Hecate, Achlys and Nyx, of course.
In India, I was known as Ratri, another personification as my prefered Nyx.
In the Germanic countries, Nott was another personification.
In Egypt, I was known as Kuk and/or Nephthys.
For the Aztec, I was Metzli, Yohaulticetl and so continues history.
Some of mine own are virtually everywhere, the Vashta Nerada, they are always there, in the shadows, lurking...
^Nyx (read, "night") - A shadowy figure, Nyx stood at or near the beginning of creation, and was the mother of other personified gods such as Hypnos (Sleep) and Thánatos (Death). Her appearances in mythology are sparse, but reveal her as a figure of exceptional power and beauty. She is found in the shadows of the world and only ever seen in glimpses.

Behold my human manifestation, come down to the realm to be among the creations of Prometheus, that made Zeus so very angry. Fear not of him, for you are all under my protection from this day on!
