One day, a envoy of the alliances arrived to speak with the leader of the Daleish Elves, Isengrim Tevinter, Fenerel's father.. It was clear why they were there... It was nearly the only time humans, orcs and dwarves congregated in numbers. War. That day the Tevinter clan made a miscalulation in choosing its allies.. One that to this day, the only surviving member of the Tevinter clan of elves remembers, The campaign was to last one week...
Isengrim was to lead a unit of archers at the vanguard of a combined army to the provence of Norweld. he did so, expertly and to victorius effect, but finally at the time of Isengrim's most dire need, his human allies abandoned him and his unit of archers.. He held steadfast and unyielding with his son apon that blood stained peak, until the messenger arived..
News of a inbound calvary army, Twenty-five thousand strong to Direni, Isengrim's home, forced him recall and muster all forces he had availible. He and his son arrived back i direni just in time, to witness the horrors befall his city and family. That day Isengrim Tevinter fell, first to sorrow and madness, then death. his home, Burning... and his son left wounded, and alone.
They say all elves are beautiful, that they are born thus. In Fenarel's case someone set out to change this, marking his face with an ugly scar that the elf partially hid beneath a crimson headscarf. Fenarel was a living legend of few words, the elusive leader of Phoenix Sword mercenary archer units whose members gave no thought to laying down their arms and discontinued their war against humans. Stories of his deeds, of his deep will to survive, and win at any cost fight painted him as more akin to a vengeful ghost than to an individual made of blood, bone and flesh. He is pushed by circumstances to the very edge of society, painfully aware that phoenix sword was used in the war with Aggro and was outnumbered and alone during the short conflict, He is determined not to let that happen again.
Yet Kid kaos' and Lifeless' first ecounter with the elf brought few answers and only ended with the phoenix sword archers laying down a deadly barrage and leaving nothing but blood and bodies on the Icey fields of wolgast. Indeed, it seemed at the time that the elf would only ever answer the world with arrows.
