Little is known about the Dwarves who call themselves Blood Clan. Nobody really knows where they had their first strongholds. And absolute nothing is known about their aims. It is said that they resided once deep under the mountains in endless tunnels and large caverns filled with jewels and gold. But no one knows the reason why they have changed their homeland with the hills and plains of Illyriad. But it´s a fact - they are here. And they are here to stay.
The Blood Clan has no need for ease or frivolities. Their mines have more gold and iron than most of any other. They forge one of the strongest magical runes of Illyriad, capturing the forgotten secrets of the oldest magic and harnessing their own mysterious rune power into them, creating even more potent magical spells for their Runelord.
They also forge the most potent weapons Illyriad has ever seen. Their axes and hammers are harder than diamands and there will be no other weapon to destroy their mithril armor. However, their rune smithing creates weapons with great magical power.
Rune symbols are hammered into magical stones placed upon the walls of their new strongholds protecting them against any hostile attack.
All dwarven brothers and even the orcs, elves and humans knowing this and respecting their growing empire shall live in peace.
