We are
~The Nightbringers~
We are an ancient force, united by the peace and darkness of the night.
The Lion-Hearted One was an ancient warrior, long ago. He fought many, but soon retired, and sought peace of mind. He found that darkness was the ultimate way; light was blinding. He had many followers, and all found the same state of mind he had achieved.
The Following assumed the name 'The Nightbringers' and the Lion-Hearted One the name 'Bringer of Darkness'. They stayed together for many years, and lived peacefully together, never bothered by adversaries. However, after a long while, the men and women started to move elsewhere, or simply passed away. Eventually, there were no more Nightbringers.
Time passed, and after a long wait, the chosen few re-founded the ancient tradition. We have been chosen to restore the clan, and we will try our best to emulate our ancestor's peace of mind. Darkness is generally associated with war and aggression. But darkness is peaceful and calm, and we are here to spread that message.
The Nightbringers is recruiting mature gamers for active participation in this alliance. The following is a good definition of what we consider a "mature gamer" to be:
"A 'mature gamer' is not emotionally over-connected to the game -- not concerned that war will somehow bring their own personal support structure crashing down. Instead, the mature gamer has a majority portion of their life outside of the game, and sees the game as just that -- a game. The player who wants peace above all else in a fictional game like Illy is desperately trying to preserve the peace in their own lives. The mature gamer just wants to play the game like a game, and leave it to return to the peace and happiness they find in their exceedingly more self-actualized lives."
If you are a stable, mature gamer, please feel free to contact Fennor, Miklabjarnir, or Sheavinah for an invite.
If you have a problem with a member of the alliance please contact Gildor Inglorion.
