Ta'veren [PTTRN]

Ta'veren (pronounced: tah-VEER-ehn) are people around whom the Wheel of Time specifically weaves the Pattern with all surrounding life-threads. No one is born ta'veren. The Pattern turns them to be one when there is a need and they are only ta'veren until they fulfill their purpose.
A ta'veren is a central focal point for a Web of Destiny in the Pattern. These people are spun out and used by the Wheel to correct itself when the weave begins to drift from the intended Pattern. Since the purpose of ta'veren is to influence life threads to create change, the destinies of ta'veren themselves are more strictly controlled by the Wheel of Time itself than those of an average person. These Webs of Destiny (or ta'maral'ailen in the Old Tongue) are almost always arduous for those that live through that Age but are an unfortunate necessity for the Wheel. The more change required, the more ta'veren that are born.
"The Wheel of Time weaves the Pattern of the Ages, and the threads it uses are lives. It is not fixed, the Pattern, not always. If a man tries to change the direction of his life and the Pattern has room for it, the Wheel just weaves on and takes it in. There is always room for small changes, but sometimes the Pattern simply won't accept a big change, no matter how hard you try....And sometimes the Wheel bends a life-thread, or several threads, in such a way that all the surrounding threads are forced to swirl around it, and those force other threads, and those still others, and on and on. That first bending to make the Web, that is ta'veren, and there is nothing you can do to change it, not until the Pattern itself changes. The Web - ta'maral'ailen, it's called - can last for weeks, or for years. It can take in a town, or even the whole Pattern."
To be a Ta'veren you need to:
1. Be an active player that doesn’t mind chatting in AC
2. Abide by the Rules of Conduct, Combat and Game Play.
3. Be loyal to Alliance, and participate in activities.
4. Have one town, at least, in Fellendire, and understand that any towns not located in a cluster of other alliance mates cannot be protected easily, and you may receive minimal assistance if you are far away and in trouble.
5. Play with honor and integrity. Represent Alliance with pride and do your best to maintain your own dignity in all matters. If you have an altercation with another player contact an Alliance Council Member for assistance. Be patient.
7. Understand that alliances are teams, help each other, work together and do not be afraid to say something if you have an idea or issue.
8. It's a Game, understand that Real Life takes precedence, if you need to be away it's none of our business why, but have a sitter help you. If you trust someone enough to appoint them as a sitter on your account you should trust them enough to give them an email address so they can contact you in case of an emergency. Sitters from other alliances are not allowed. Please log in everyday, if possible. If you fail to log in after 65 days without telling anyone or placing a sitter, you may be removed from the Alliance and your towns subject to siege and capture.
9. Respect each other, and all Illyrians.

Our Rules:
We are a Hunting and Crafting Alliance.
We claim the 5 squares around our towns as ours for growth and sovereignty; and will respect the 5 square soverienty of others. Please do not move within 10 squares of our towns without asking first. We are growing and need the space for our new towns.
Towns under the PTTRN banner are our property, whether active, dormant or abandoned still under the PTTRN banner. If we drop an account, it will be considered ours and marked accordingly. If you would like to purchase a town, igm leadership with an offer (note that the town will be required to exodus upon capture)
5 square hunting and kill zone per town. Marked or not, it's ours.
When we hunt we like to harvest our kills, whether we occupy it or not. If you are hunting and harvesting around our towns please beware that we consider others harvesting our kills as poachers. Your harvesters and occupying forces will be killed if we can prove the kill is ours. Sometimes more than one person goes after any certain NPC. The player that arrives first is the owner of the kill unless it's within the boundry's claimed by our towns. If you killed it, it is yours. If you didn’t kill it, get permission before harvesting or you may be wiped off the square .
It is by common courtesy and working together that we play in Illy. Inactive towns are the property of Ta'veren. Abandoned towns not under an Alliance banner are not acknowledged as property of any Alliance and are free to siege as long as it is not in a land claim area. This is the standard accepted game rule, from what we have found, talking to many Illyrians. If you want a Ta'veren town, you must ask first and receive written permission before taking our towns.
We will be courteous and work with our neighbors and hope to be friendly and protective of each other.
