The DARK Academy

is a peaceful training alliance, protected by and affiliated with The DARK Empire , and located in The Western Realms, Northern Kumala, and Southern Fremorn. Those seeking membership must be willing to locate to our area, both for security and for convenient distribution of resources. Anyone interested in joining should contact -Glaedr- for an invite.

aDARK helps new players grow into great cities and find their role here in Elgea. We will give you advice, answer any questions you may have, and keep you stocked with resources so you may grow strong. We are a family and are here to support each other in our endeavors.

Instructions for new members:

Do not use your tenaril
When you need resources, don't hesitate to ask in AC or via IGM(in-game mail) to one of our larger members, just be sure to specify how much your storehouse/warehouse can hold.
Upgrade farms as needed, there is NO reason your town should have negative food
Build your library
Upgrade your storehouse to level 15
Research "Inventory Management"
Build your warehouse
Upgrade your warehouse to level 20
Research "Exodus"
During research, build a settler(we will provide the necessary resources)
Also be sure to familiarize yourself with the art of making your capital a 7 food town rather than 5 by reading this: http://forum.illyriad.co.uk/the-magical-7-food-mountain_topic4094.html
You now should be thinking about which field you want to go in: military, crafting, or trade.
We will find you a spot to send your settler and start your next town. If you choose to find your own spot to settle, MAKE SURE IT HAS 7 FOOD PLOTS!!!

Food = population = taxes = gold = army -Rill

You will then embark on your journey to the Western Realms.

Warning:

DO NOT UPGRADE ANYTHING ABOVE LEVEL 12, FOR IT WILL BE DE-LEVELED TO LEVEL 12 AFTER EXODUSING.

This of course excludes your storehouse and warehouse. They will be de-leveled but you need them to the levels listed above before you can exodus.

You CAN NOT attack anyone, this includes sieging unless they are authorized by -Glaedr- or Caixa and you CAN NOT harvest on other players sovereign squares.

For resources, ask alliance chat or igm -Glaedr- or Sushie. DO NOT ask Global Chat.
