[27 Mar 16:26]<Chase> You have to have a second town in order to exodus your main. So you should settle your 2nd, then work toward exo'ing your capital

[27 Mar 16:32]<Chase> You'll want to settle your 2nd on a 7 food spot in a better area. You already have the population , hopefully you have your settler as well. Then you can exodus your capital - also on a 7 food spot in a better area

[27 Mar 16:46]<Empress Ethel> Look for rainforests in Larn or Djebeli. And when harvesting dyallom gall, never send more than 3 herbalists to a rare tile on a rainforest square. Try to stick with just 2. Any more than that, and the plant is destroyed.
[27 Mar 16:47]<Empress Ethel> It also grows in the monsoon jungles in Zanpur, but Dlord has a lot of cities there and they get really touchy. And on the west side in Kumala, but the tiles there are more likely to be claimed sovereign.

[27 Mar 16:48]<Empress Ethel> Neither I nor Fluffy have attempted to settle up over the ocean; there are a lot of land claims and it seems more of a violent/hostile setting than Elgea.

[27 Mar 16:54]<Empress Ethel> You don't, unless you check. Generally, if you see a spot you like, look for the nearest cities and check the alliance profiles of those players.

[27 Mar 16:57]<Empress Ethel> For the most part, aside from Tcol, I believe Elgea is fair game as long as you stay 10 squares from other cities.

When my current research finishes, I'll exo it a few squares over. Of course, just as I'm finishing getting all my resources to lvl 20.
