                           Rules to follow for The Foundation

 

1. No member is allowed to declare war or perform any hostile actions upon any other player without the authorization of the alliance leadership.  

 

2.Members have the right to defend themselves against any hostile action at any time, with full support of the alliance.

 

3.Where practicable members will offer military assistance to other members or allies when it is required. 

 

4.Members have to be respectful to all. Using language in global chat that is likely to negatively impact the image of the alliance or any of its members, is not allowed.

 

5.If a member is  contacted by any other alliance for any reason the member must notify alliance leaders immediately. (Zenith) 

 

6. For Block members, it is forbidden to settle within 8 squares of any illyriad player. The authorization of the player/alliance is required to do so.

 

7. For Block members, it is forbidden to occupy a spot within 5 squares of any illyriad player. The authorization of the player/alliance is required to do so.

 

8. Settling a city within 8 squares of any Block member is not allowed. The authorization of the player/alliance is required to do so.

 

9. Occupying, raiding, attacking a spot within 5 squares of any Block member is not allowed. The authorization of the player/alliance is required to do so.

 

Alliance purpose

The Foundation is an alliance based upon co-operation for the mutual benefit of all members. It was establised to provide a friendly enviroment to help new inhabitants of elgea find their way and build a co-operative framework to allow all members to flourish along their chosen path.

 

Membership

Applications will not be considered by any player who currently at war with or paticipating in hostile activities towards another player.

Members are expected to be active within The Foundation. Members who have been inactive for more than 30 days may be removed at the discretion of the leadership. If you expect to be away for an extended period. Let the leadership know so that you are not 'kicked'.

Members with a population under 10.000 will receive help with basic and advanced resources. If you are in need of anything. Please ask in alliance chat for what you need. If there is nobody currently logged on. Please send a mail to a member of the leadership team and we will act upon it as soon as possible.

 

Expectations

The Foundation is a co-operative alliance. please consider other members in your actions.

Established players are encouraged to help new members and players with advice. resources. magic.etc. Please consider other members if you have a surplus of resources that could be utilised within the alliance.

Members who hold positions that are responsible for the production of advanced resources are expected to distribut these within in the alliance. In times of need.

Grievance Procedure

Where a grievance exists between two or more members, any one or more of the parties may request arbitration from the alliance.

Where a grievance exists between a member and the alliance or out of the alliance. the member should inform one of the alliance leaders, upon which the alliance will work with the member to achieve an amicable outcome.          

 

Inactive Members

If a member is inactive for 30 days that member will receive a mail of compliance of 15 days to become active if not the cities can be sieged or looted after 45 days. this is why there are sitters if you plan on being away from the game make a member of alliance a sitter to avoid this.
