Trade, Newbies & Tournaments

TNT is currently hiring on experienced and active staff to assist newbies - this includes management positions available for known players as well as staff positions with potential to rise rapidly for any unknown player who makes a good impression.

Trade

Currently, we are acting as a trade network, primarily selling on the marketplace and in faction hubs.  We are willing to accept any traders within our alliance's umbrella as a form of protection without imposing any taxes, or similar.

Newbies

We are also willing to take on a small amount of newbies who are capable of free thought.  Any new player joining TNT should expect to be given resources, and assistance with finding city locations, trade, and aspects of game play.  We do appreciate players that are polite and have a sense of humour, as well as those that desire independance, but are happy to help you achieve this freedom in a safe, cosy environment.  As a new player, you may, at the end of your training period, be invited to remain within TNT as staff, or we aid you in going on to a larger alliance, or form your own as you see fit, and will gain all support whichever path you choose to take.

Currently we have plenty of slots open for new players, and we are recruiting.

Tournaments

While TNT is a non-aggressive alliance based on trade and newbie training, we do agree that some combat is necessary.  As such, we advocate taking an active part in global tournaments if at all possible.  This gives the ability to test combat skills, utilise commanders, and gain a feel for all aspects of the game.

We also run in-house tournaments (created by our staff members only for TNT newbies), each focusing on an aspect of gameplay.  They might be growth related, warcraft (siege and general military), fact finding, treasure hunts, and so on.  They lead to prizes for all participants, whether you win or lose, although the more you get involved, the more you can win, and the higher your prize!  In addition, all newbies participating gain information about Illyriad and it's game system that helps in the future.  Besides, who doesn't like blowing stuff up?!

Location

TNT is located in Kumala and Lan Larosh, with branches in Tor Carrock and Meilla, all within the SW quarter of the game map.  There is no requirement on members being within these sectors, however, of course, this is prefered for the purpose of sharing resources.  Newbies who have not yet moved their capital, and who are therefore within the newbie ring, will be welcomed without question.
